We have earlier reported that director Bala will be wielding the megaphone for a multi starer with Arya, Atharvaa, Vishal, Rana Daggubati, and Arvind Swamy in important roles.
There were reports initially that the film is based on the controversial novel Kuttra Parambarai, which is set in the pre-independence era. Earlier director Bharathiraaja and Bala had a spat over the making rights of the novel.
However, Bala has already confirmed that his version will be a different take on the history.
The film reportedly narrates the story of a father and son in the 19th century.Now, it looks like Bala has pushed the project further. He is likely to begin a quickie with singer Pragathi Guruprasad and Yuvan of Sattai fame in the lead. The film will be produced by Balas home banner B Studios. More details awaited.
